## About the owner

Michael Portillo, known as Mike, runs MC Innovation and leads every project. In 2025 he completed Schluter-Systems' Innovation Workshop, hands-on training in waterproof tiled showers and crack-free tile floors. He believes in fair, written prices, honest advice and doing the work right the first time, and he would rather tell a customer what they don't need than upsell them. Off the job he spends time with his daughters, fishing and boating.
